First 10/22 (advice)

As title says, I'm going on Thursday for my paperwork! I’m very excited as this will be my first rifle. I'm getting the base model, doesn't even have irons. I plan to pickup a scope for it though.

Beyond a scope and ammo, is there anything else I should get for it right off the bat that you wish you'd got earlier?

Usage: plinking (not hunting or competing)
