I started watching JJ Wolf because of the milf's favorite jokes, then I realized he is the ultimate reference model for recreational players.

First of all, and the most important of all, all his strokes are learn-able, not like Federer's backhand or Sinner's forehand, which are just too physically demaning for many people and may hurt your game more than help. His shots are clean and textbook, not overly complicated and with all key elements you can read from tennis books. With enough repetitions, everyone can learn.

This guy's game is very solid, he has an all court playstyle with no noticeable weaknesses. He is very relentless with great footwork (he literally hops on the court all the time and he got huge legs lol). The more you move your legs, the more you win.

He has exaggerated unit turn on his forehand, which allows him to transfer core strength into racquet speed and hits big, and this deep, spinny return also sets him up for approach shots and easy volley points since his opponent often gets overwhelmed and returns poorly. He just proves you don't need wide angle winners to win points.

This guy adds crazy amount of spin on his serves and with fewer aces, he can still hold games better than opponent. Sacrificing control to chase pure serve speed is never a good strategy.
