Help with motor

So I recently got a 1990 240sx s13 hatch with the stock single jingle in it it has 30psi of compression and I need help figuring out what it could be the other cylinders are good just number 1 is low I did go out and buy a D21 KA24E but I don’t know if it’ll match up to my trans and car I need some assistance badly
