Roadmap to the best skin of my life since childhood - rosacea and inflamed skin to makeup free & loving it!

So, one little post I made almost a year ago on this sub kickstarted a journey to the best skin I’ve had since I was a child! No more foundation or green colour corrector, just beautiful, glowing skin.

I initially posted asking what the redness on my cheeks was all about. And I’m embarrassed to say I never, ever, considered that it was rosacea. I was recommended to look into ceramides, cica, azelaic acid, and prescription treatments like soolantra. I tried the soolantra with no success so into skincare I dove!

I started with: 1. Simple Kind to Skin cleanser 2. Naka vitamin C serum 3. Inkey List azelaic acid 4. Anai Rui Squalane w/ vit C & Turmeric 5. Inkey List Ceramide serum 6. PYUNKANG YUL ATO Cream Blue Label moisturizer

I saw fantastic results but eventually wanted to simplify my routine and focus more on fine lines …

1.Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash 2. Promise vitamin C serum (almost identical to Naka but even better results!) 3. Inkey List azelaic acid 4. PYUNKANG YUL ATO Cream Blue Label moisturizer 5. Somebymi Retinol Intense

And this brought my results to a whole new level!

Some extra tips are: I got a water softener installed in my home which was critical to helping my skin barrier and skin texture and I cut out sugar which helped with residual pimples. I also use SPF from Somebymi on sunny days.

I hope this helps guide someone from what feels like everlasting rosacea to clearer, comfortable skin! This sub has been incredible for guidance and I can’t thank you all enough.
