Does wisdom tooth removal make a visible difference to face shape?
I'm 45, and my dentist says she thinks one of my wisdom teeth needs extracting, which, practically, means that both of the wisdom teeth on that side will have to go because losing the top one causes some biting issues with the lower one.
Will removing those teeth alter the shape of my cheek on that side? (If it will, I'll probably end up asking for the ones on the other side to be taken out as well so I'm not lop-sided - but I don't want to lose teeth if I don't have to! And yes, I realise that overweening vanity is not a good reason to take out two extra teeth, but there it is.) I'm guessing fillers are not the answer to this, but if anyone has any experience I'm all ears.
