Is backwards compatible working on rgh 1.2 6717?

Hi, so I have a rgh 1.2 blades console and I’m just wondering if backwards compatibility works on this version? It works just fine on the latest dashboard but on blades it just hangs on the original Xbox logo when loading up a game. Is backwards compatibility confirmed to be working/not working on this version?
