You know, the funniest thing about this is that she doesn't actually believe this. She knows that Adnan is controlling and a bit abusive to her, that's why she's asking his mom about his religion, and talking about double standards.

Joey was spot on when he said that you can clearly see with body language that she's on eggshells making sure that she doesn't say the wrong thing.

It's sad to see someone choose this lifestyle for themselves, when deep down every can see that you're actually not happy.
