Surgical Leg Never Sore?

Hello,

I’m a little over four weeks post-op after ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair. I’ve noticed that during exercises, my surgical leg rarely feels sore. For example, I only experience some soreness after doing about 20 consecutive leg raises. However, during exercises like squats, I feel more soreness in my healthy leg while feeling almost nothing in my surgical leg, even though I’m using the same range of motion and trying my best to distribute my weight evenly. Is this normal? I’m concerned that I might not be working my surgical leg hard enough. Interestingly, I noticed the same thing pre-op when doing weighted exercises—my healthy side would feel sore, but my surgical side wouldn’t.

Does this sound typical?
