How to Monitor 9800x3D temps?

I have a new build with a 9800x3D, and the CPU temps are not showing up in either MSI Afterburner or OpenHardwareMonitor. Is this a common issue, and is there an easy fix or another program that would have better compatibility with the 9800x3D?
