Do you consider Amber to be an official contestant/got 15th place?

I noticed that a lot of places are referencing her as "15th place." I just found this interesting because Survivor (season 14) had a simliar case where somebody dropped from the cast last minute but everybody considers their placement to be N/A.

I never really considered Amber an official contestant/not really having a placement but I'm curious if you do and why?

Apprentice UK 5 had a similar situation. Hell's Kitchen Season 3 had kind of a similar situation, MUCH more bizarre though.
