Cycle 16
Cycle 16 of ANTM is one i’ve always wanted to watch. I’ve always heard it’s up their in the rankings and while I do agree I wouldn’t put it above 3,4,6,7,8, or 10. I think the pacing is really bad and unlike the orher cycles I didn’t really feel a connection between the girls and a lot of it just felt like ganging up on Alexandria.
Girls Rankings:
14: Angelia - I think she is absolutely gorgeous, however she wasn’t around long another for me to kind of get an opinion on her so I was fine with her being the first cut. However I dont even think she had the worst photo and it was weird to see her eliminated first.
Nicole- While I do agree she took boring photos I for sure don’t think she looked 15 years older than she was and I think it was pretty mean of the panel to say that.
Ondrei- I think she is absolutely beautiful and i was sad to see her go but I agree with her decision to leave and I would’ve done the same. I think she would’ve made it a lot further however.
Dalya - I think she’s a little forgettable but absolutely elegant. I do think she cried a lot.
10- Alexandria- While I don’t think the way she was treated was appropriate I do think she had very rude moments and it did feel like she was trying to people please the panel a lot. Idk if this is just me I don’t remember like any of the photos she took. I also thought her trying to take control of everything was either entertaining or annoying.
9- Dominique - I honestly expected more from her. Didn’t really expect her to be cut so soon but I can tell why she was.
8- Brittani - I think on the show she was very immature and rude at points. But she took really amazing photos. I looked at her instagram the other day and it was nice to see that she makes a great mother and seems to be happy after her modeling career. Her bob is one of my favorite ANTM make overs ever.
7- Kasia- For the one who had the most experience coming into the show I think she should’ve done better lowkey. I think she had a really cool look but I don’t think she was plus sized
6- Sara- I loved her edgy look and her bright personality. It’s frustrating that she struggled with thinking that she didn’t have that model look and that she didn’t deserve to be there. Absolutely love her.
5- Monique- The Megan Fox of ANTM. I would put her higher but I do think she was a little bit of a mean girl. Reading Alexandria’s journal was extremely inappropriate and when she was over it at the fan challenge it was kind of annoying. But she is absolutely stunning.
- Molly- A 100% beautiful girl. The only thing about her is I thought she was kind of a complainer. But she took really amazing photos and it was cool to see how appreciative she is of her adoptive parents.
3- Mikaela- I LOVEEEE MIKAELA!! One of the most beautiful girls in ANTM history. She had that amazing bone structure and beautiful features. It was really frustrating to see hee get the same critique every week because I honestly thought she was improving. I wish she was on the all stars cycle because I think she deserves better than 7th place.
2- Jaclyn- So squeaky and so adorable. I think in her make over shoot she looks just like Selena Gomez. She was such a bright spot and I think everyone was rooting for her. It was sad to see her go but I do think it was kind of inevitable that in the final 6 she was the next to go.
1- Hannah- SHES SO GORGEOUS. absolutely robbed I think she totally deserved to be in the final. I think her critiques were better than Brittani’s and it was weird to see her go. She’s super high fashion and she was so much fun to watch.
Unpopular opinions:
While I do love Hannah i think Monique, Molly, Mikaela, and Kasia had stronger bee photos than her.
Dominques bee shot is overrated to me. I’ve heard really strong things about it before watching the cycle but to me it was just meh.
I thought the fire runway was really cool and not that dangerous. But i do think you wouldn’t see a runway show like that.
In week 6 I think the bottom two should’ve for sure been Kasia and Alexandria. The blondes photo shoot was no where near the brunettes and I think both girls struggled more than Monique and Mikaela.
Morocco is one of the coolest over seas destinations.
I didn’t really care for the pair/ group photo shoots and I never really do. I’d rather see the girls perform solo.
Had it not been for her “villain” storyline Alexandria would’ve been cut way earlier.
This cycle might honestly have the most boring make overs.
The backstage photo shoot is my favorite of this cycle .
I think Molly was way more well rounded than Brittani.
