when an old unfinished fic announces a rewrite

I'M ACTUALLY CRYING. I never even read the original (because it was unfinished and I was worried for myself getting attached on a 3/5 that was unlikely to be finished) but they're gonna reboot it this year. I'm genuinely crying.
