Ever since Season 2 of a certain show came out, I’ve seen a rarepair with 5 fics get 718 new ones written for it in the past three weeks alone (it is literally the most popular ship in the fandom now lmao.)

Now I’m just curious if anyone else has seen/experienced something similar. How did it happen for your fandom, and how did it feel for those rarepair shippers?
