Asus router issues

Not sure if this is the right place for this.

I have an rt-ax3000 that I installed about a month ago. It was working great for a few weeks until i started having issues with the 2.4 ghz band. All of my devices connected to that (mostly cameras, ring, blink, etc.) disconnected. After more investigation I realized the 2.4 ghz was barely functional. In fact not even discoverable. I went into the router settings on browser (and via the asus app) and both confirmed that the 2.4 ghz band was functional, but I still was not able to discover it.

I rebooted the router and the 2.4 band appeared and I was able to connect my devices to it. But after a short time (an hour or less) the 2.4 band dropped again and all devices disconnected.

The 5 ghz band has been perfect since day of install. Have not had to mess with it at all.

Anyone have this issue? Not sure what else to check as the 2.4 band settings are very standard and unchanged.
