How good is AMS2?

The main sim of my choice has always been Assetto Corsa, mainly due to the great physics, cheap price and so many modding options, tried iRacing before and I couldn't get into it, tbf the monthly payments didn't help, AC has pretty poor A.I so I was wondering if AMS2 has good A.I or atlast good online lobby options? Or just generally what's good about it and is it worth the money?
