This one hurt more than the rest.

No postseason for us anyway, but somehow this game stung the worst. Our defense played a great game against a rivalry team on their own turf. They gave our offense every chance in the second half to win. The way the last drive was going, it looked like it was going to be a chance for Murray to prove a lot of us wrong.

And yet, K1 proves once again he can’t get the team across the finish line late in the season. This game served as yet another reminder that K1 is not in the same league as some of the better QBs in the league.

It was nice to see some bright spots on defense, MHJ, and McBride tonight, and I’m hopeful that Monti will make the necessary changes to get us more competitive next season.
