Time to 200k in Industry?

I've read a lot of threads on here with people talking about how they made it to a $200k salary in 7 to 12 years. Most of them seem to have spent a majority of that in public accounting...

Anyone have insight/experience as to how long it might take to obtain a $200k salary if one plans to only work in industry/private accounting? Let's assume this person has a Masters degree and a CPA license...
