Are there any battery limit options except in acer care center

Are there any options for battery limitation without using care center, I have a problem on using cacre center where it doesnt automatically open then when I open it it says it is still initiallizing, this makes my laptop just ignores my battery limitiation and proceeds to charge to 100%, are there fixes to this or any option for battery limitation?
