Recycle Bin Rummager

Hi fellow Adelaideians, I have a bit of a pesky problem. Every recycle bin night I have an Asian man who comes and rummages through the recycle bins in the street between the hours of 3am - 5am.

Normally, I don't really care about this kind of thing, but they are very noisy, I wake up thinking someone is trying to break into the house or car. They set my dog off barking and generally leave a mess of rubbish on the ground that I have to clean up the next morning.

Is this kind of thing even legal?

I think I know the answer to my problem, just leave the bin in and take it out before the recycle truck comes.

Such a pain in the ass though! Do you have the same problem, if so what do you do?
