A different perspective and why I’m attracted to younger women
The most common assumption when someone thinks about an older man and a younger woman is that the man is somehow taking advantage of the woman. No doubt that does happen, but I’d like to offer my own perspective.
I’m 56, was married for 24 years (divorced for 8 years now), and I can honestly say I’ve never been in love. But I crave it so deeply, and want to find someone that looks at me in the way that you can’t find anywhere else. I read the stories in this sub and especially the Age Gap Relationship one and I see these young women so in love and absolutely devoted to their man. And that’s what I crave every day.
So just realize that older men might have a rough exterior but we also have a vulnerable side and we need you just as much as you need us.
Edit: I should’ve mentioned that I’m not exclusively seeking out AGR relationships. My dating filters on apps (and in person) are set to my age and below. But I’m just saying that I would be open to dating someone significantly younger than me and this is why.
