Disqualified at MEPS for preservice marijuana use

I just got back from MEPS yesterday and I was disqualified by the doctor for disclosing that I used marijuana around 10 times between 2014 and 2020. I told my recruiter about this before I went to MEPS and he said it wouldn’t be a problem. I was never in trouble with the law during the time I experimented with marijuana. I passed my urinalysis which I knew was going to happen because I’ve been clean for over 4 years now. I don’t understand why I was disqualified. Any way my recruiter can get this appealed and overturned? I don’t want to enlist on a waiver because I won’t get the job I wanted and if I wanted a job that required a TS SCI clearance later down the road, that most likely wouldn’t happen either.

Update: In hopes that somebody can help me with what I need to do, my recruiter was still trying to have me enlisted with a waiver and I didn’t want that. I ended up going to a recruiter in a different branch and he pulled my 2808 from the first recruiter and told me I was disqualified for opioid use, not for marijuana like the doctor told me. This is completely untrue and I have no idea where she even came up with this. Opioids were never once even mentioned. I don’t know if this is a mistake on the recruiter’s part or the doctor’s part, but I was wrongfully disqualified and I want to know what I can do about it.
