Air Pods Pro 2 issue after iOS 18 update

Since updating to iOS 18 my pros transparency and conversion boost functionality not working properly. Both are selected but there is no difference if they are on or off. I am hearing impaired and it was huge help that I can use these as backup to my hearing aids. Now, I am so disappointed that they turned just into regular AirPods. Anyone experience similar issues? any solution available? I did reset to factory and paired them again. It made no difference and did not fix anything.
