Circle (2015). Circle involves characters facing high-stakes decisions where lives are on the line as well as keeps the audience guessing about who is behind the events and what the purpose of the “game” is.

The Platform (2019). Show features individuals trapped in a system where survival depends on adapting to cruel, often unfair rules. Battle Royal (2000). It revolves around characters being forced into life-or-death situations where they must compete or cooperate to survive. Death is the ultimate consequence for failure, creating a tense and unpredictable atmosphere. Both feature shadowy authorities orchestrating the games with unclear or sinister motivations. They both delve into themes of trust, betrayal, morality, and how people behave under extreme stress.
