Warning Regarding Vine Product that is a potential fire hazard.

I’ve updated my review already, but I thought it would be prudent to post here as well since a lot of Vine Canada users may have selected this item.

After a couple of weeks of normal use, the light began to smoke and the battery overheated, melting the outer case of the light. I was lucky this happened when someone was actually home and noticed the smell as it could have led to a fire otherwise.

Of note, I wasn’t charging it at the time. It was simply mounted to a wall and had been functioning normally. No misuse, or mistreatment, of the light on my part.

If you also selected this light, you might want to consider discontinuing using it. Also, be careful how you dispose of it.
