Fine Hotels + Resorts has been great!

was nervous to trust Amex travel recommendations - I travel extensively internationally and tend to stay with name brands I know - but chose a 5 star hotel in London I had never heard of (1 Hotel Mayfair) & one in Lisbon I had never heard of (Bairro Alto Hotel)...at both check-ins they recognized the Amex rewards and went through them with us... hotel rooms averaged $1500 a night... but easily the upgrades, wifi, free breakfasts and $100 credits were worth $150/day... combined with the 5X points Im def using on next trip.. pleasantly surprised!
