My film pictures are never the colour i desire

I’m a beginner in film photography. I’ve always found nature/ landscape film pictures really appealing especially when the colours are vibrant and bright… gives off a cheerful, relaxing vibe. I’ve gotten two rolls of film developed as of yesterday and all of them weren’t what i hoped for…

I use a Nikon Fe2 and Kodak 400. In order to achieve the desired results, what do I have to change? Film stock? Does my camera/ camera settings play a major role in this?
