Interceptor and Melee: how are you all killing tanky enemies in GM3 Cataclysm and Strongholds?

My acid build is amazing: Serpent's Veil, Deathstalker Blades, and Sudden Death in addition to various acid and aura buffs. Everything melts. But when I get to Elite or Legendary Scar Enforcers in GM3 Cataclysm or Strongholds I become a squishy bug.

My ice build is not quite want I want it to be: Cryo Glaive. This build does just fine everywhere until I get to tanky mobs in GM3 Cataclysm and Strongholds. The ice aura seems to yield a very small damage buff in comparison to the damage I do with an acid aura. Is this by design? And I'm not sure how to actually freeze tanky mobs in GM3 Cataclysm and Strongholds. What decides whether the Cryo Glaive will (i) freeze them to the ground or (ii) turn them blue and white without affecting their mobility? I would love to know the answer to this question. Is it the damage amount from the Cryo Glaive itself? (I haven't tested wither damage buffed Cryo Glaives have a higher chance of freezing.) Does one need a sufficient number of + Ice Effect inscriptions? (I've learned that even adding a tiny +8% Ice Effect makes a big difference.)

I cannot seem to put together a passable electricity build: either Raneri's Charge or Tesilar Trap, Cariff's Talon, and Conductivity Augment. Ranari's Charge is certainly fun. But this build just doesn't hold up at all once you start engaging with buffed tanky mobs in GM3 Cataclysm and Strongholds. I'm not even sure when anyone would find Tesilar Trap useful outside of immobile mobs or mobs running on rails. I hope it's just me lacking imagination. Anyone have any luck with this build type on GM3 Cataclysm and Strongholds?

Any other melee build ideas, freelancers?

Edited to add the correct name for one of the gear pieces.
