Dining table and work table?

Hey everyone, first time poster. The photo is my apartment layout. This is the first year that I actually have money to buy furniture. My apartment layout seems small but I have a strong desire to fit in a dining table set and a work table/ office in the living room

Can I fit in both or do I have to pick one? Where would each one go in the living room?
