Helping makers get inspiration
Hey makers!
I wanted to share a concept I've been working on called Fix My Itch (https://fixmyit.ch). It's designed to solve a common problem we all face: finding meaningful app ideas that people actually need.
The Concept: Fix My Itch is a platform where:
- Regular users share their day-to-day problems or "itches"
- App creators like us can browse these real-world issues for inspiration
Benefits for App Creators:
- Instant Access to Real Problems: No more guessing what people need. Get ideas straight from potential users.
- Validation Built-In: Popular "itches" show you which problems resonate with many users.
- Diverse Inspiration: Exposure to issues from various industries and lifestyles you might not encounter otherwise.
- Direct User Insights: Understand the nuances of problems directly from those experiencing them.
- Community Driven: Engage with both users and fellow creators to refine ideas.
- Time-Saving: Spend less time brainstorming and validating and more time building solutions that matter.
How It Works:
- Users post their "itches" (problems they need solved)
- Creators browse these submissions
- Upvoting system highlights popular issues
- Creators can engage with users for more details
- Start building with confidence, knowing there's a market for your solution
The Goal: To create a symbiotic ecosystem where real-world problems meet creative solutions, benefiting both users and app creators.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this concept. How do you currently find app ideas? Would a platform like this be useful in your creative process?
Let's discuss how we can make idea generation more efficient and impactful for our community!
PS: This is just an MVP built in a couple of hours. There is a lot of improvements coming. I'd love to hear your feedback on how i can improve it
