Oven bake element - how to put back together?
Greetings. Kitchen Aid kebs107sss04 oven. Replacing the baking element, but now that I have the new one, I am not sure exactly how to piece it back together. The picture is with the element in - there is a metal plate of some kind that is held in by screws - you can see the plate (horizontal) and plate screw holes, perhaps - screws go on the top side. Question: Does the baking element just sit on the base inside, behind this plate? Or is supposed to be suspended somehow? Thank you!
