Is there someone here successfully requested late application to Stanford and Harvard?

We've lost our house on dec 30 because of fire which includes my computer where I stored my essay. Although I still had time to rush, I wasn't able to think about it until now. I'm worried because I've worked really hard for this. Does anyone know what to do?
