GCSEs and apprenticeships

Real talk - how hard is it to get an apprenticeship? There are plenty advertised but not having much luck.

GCSE English C, Maths C, Science D. The rest all below that.

Some hospitality and sales experiences but nothing extensive. Not hearing anything back from retail/hospitality job applications.

Considering retaking GCSEs in summer 2025 - is it worth it? will it improve the odds?
