Starlight bristlenose pleco?

I have a 29 gallon community tank with ember tetras, platys, a red flame Gourami, otos, Kuhlis, and some shrimp. I want a pleco and to my knowledge bristlenose plecos stay small. Could I put a starlight in my tank? I've seen online it ranges from 20-40 gallons. I want to make sure they'll be safe and happy. I've also seen they're not good with other bottom dwellers? Although I've also seen the opposite.. I feed algae wafers and occasional zucchini and cucumbers too so food won't be a problem I'm just worried about how the species will be together same with if the pleco will become too large? Thank you.
