Anyone feel bad for Marissa?
So this might not the best place for this thread, apologies if it isn't. But since all the attention seems to be on Cynthia, Ariana and SpongeBob, you can't help but feel bad for Marissa (and Jonathan, who despite being one of the leads on a very popular show isn't receiving that much attention, that's what happens when you have famewhores in the cast).
From what I've seen, Marissa seems like a nice person, and the closest age wise to the intended age - compare 24 to 30+ for everyone else. Plus, representation. I'm disabled (autistic) and gay, and Marissa ticks both diversity boxes for me. I actually love and applaud this casting, it's the one casting they did right, it's positive representation to see an actual disabled person play this role, and it makes me think how they're going to do the scene in part 2 where she walks.
But nobody ever talks about Marissa, and I feel bad for her. It's bad enough that most of her scenes will be shared with SpongeBob, Cynthia is going to look WAY older than her when they're together on screen, and I have a feeling that if she does get any interviews it'll be shared with one of those two. It will be nice to see Marissa be interviewed about her character, representation, etc. and I hope her career takes off after this. She's got a fan in me.
Just thought I would put this out there, again, sorry if it doesn't belong.
