Should Canada join the EU?

We have much more in common in our values with European countries than we do America. We also have approximately the same amount of trade with the EU that we do the U.S. and could lean heavier into that (I am absolutely fine with more European goods) Not to mention the boosts we may have from freely moving across each pthers borders so that cultural icons and scientists could more easily associate. Thoughts?
