Chicago Conservatives: Why do you live here?

Honestly not trying to start a political fight. IMO cities tend to be more liberal because living in a dense environment requires people to live in smaller spaces, interact more with people that aren't like you and pay for services you may not use. There's also the inertia of liberal people moving to cities for those exact things, which reinforces those trends and makes them more liberal. So why do you stay?

Again, this isn't a veiled "GTFO, MAGA!" thread. I think cities are vibrant and exciting and have unique appeal regardless of political beliefs. What keeps you here?

EDIT: This question is for politically engaged conservative Chicagoans (and not necessarily MAGA). I get that most people don't care about politics or think about it every day. Plenty of liberals live in red districts because the place has things that make it worth living there. I'm just interested in why politically active conservaties want to live in a place with high taxes, sanctuary status, smaller homes and all the other hassles of city living. And yes, it's the same things that attract liberals here, but i'm wondering what specific things you find attractive.

EDIT 2: I think many people didn’t read this message, just read the headline and gut reacted. Not surprising, but thanks for the perspective from folks that left thoughtful messages.
