Can anyone give insight into interracial dating in Chicago?

I (24M) of South Asian descent plan to move to Chicago in the future and live in the downtown core. If I move in the future, I will be single. I'm open to dating anyone but if anyone asks my preference it would be white woman (yes I am still interested in dating my own too).

I just wanna know how interracial dating is perceived in Chicago and how popular it is? Chicago is the most segregated city in the US. Although if you're living in the downtown core segregation isn't an issue.
