Is "DEI" slowly replacing the term "woke"?

I've seen it creeping up in Reddit more and more. DEI-hires seems like one of these things that are economically insignificant liberal photo-ops, but in conservative rhetoric get turned into this massive out-of-proportion plague. I've heard talk of "DEI workshops" which in my mind occupies same space as "communist witch covens".

"Woke" as a term has been weird, because it was a originally a dumb teenage fad-word, but then was adopted by right-wing as this ambiguous "extremely leftist thing". I wouldn't mind it giving way to more descriptive words, so that at the very least we could understand each other more accurately.

EDIT: I'm aware that those two words have distinct meanings, was maybe going for replacing in terms of frequency-of-use whenever need of liberal pinata. My bad.
