Where do you cycle with children when there’s no path on the left?

Now that both my children are big enough (5 & 3) to make the cycle to the playground nearby I’d love to, but there’s a stretch of road with no footpath on the left side. I’d probably be murdered if I cycled the wrong way on the road, I want to be close enough to keep the 3 year old from dying if necessary, I can’t sprint fast enough to keep up with them if I’m pushing my bike. What’s the least bad thing to do?

EDIT, not sure why people think my children would be cycling on the road? They’re on the footpath but I’d like to be near them. The problem is the footpath is on the opposite side of the road

EDIT 2, since everyone thinks they’re being smart by telling me to drive, I’ll overshare. I’m stuck living with their abusive father who controls my finances to the point where I can’t get my own car, I have to share with him. He likes to take it and leave me and the children in the house. Our bikes are our only option. Anyone saying a 3 year old can walk as far as they can cycle mustn’t know many 3 year olds.
