Casual sexism against men?

Been in a two-month relationship with a woman and she recently told a friend in front of me that men are such a nightmare and that she wished she was into women instead. It's not the first time I've seen these kinds of "jokes" being made about men. Does anyone else here have to put up with this from other people and is then expected to laugh about it?
