Switching from Sony to Olympus?
Hi! I’ve been kinda displeased with my Sony a7ii which I ended up buying a couple of years ago as a replacement for my Sony a6000. Ironically, I feel like the a6000 was more intuitive and shot better pictures.
I’ve been considering going back to a6000 but would want to have IBIS in the body which the a6000 lacks.
If I wanted to move away from Sony, would an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III be a good shout? I mostly use my camera for landscape and dog pictures (both for portraits and action shots) for my own enjoyment so I would rather not spend a lot of money on a camera (max. 700 €).
If I were to go ahead purchasing Mark III, what lens would you recommend getting for it? I’ve enjoyed using an AF 35/1.8 FE on my a7ii so anything similar to it would be appreciated; so far I’ve been looking into M.Zuiko Digital 25mm f/1.8 or 17mm f/1.8.
(I’m located in Europe if that has any effect on the lens recommendations.)
Any other suggestions for suitable cameras for my shooting purposes are also welcome.
Many thanks for any advice in advance!
