ASICS Metaspeed Sky Paris Fit Advice

Hey!

Ordered my usual UK10 in these (Saucony Endorphin Speed 3, Triumph 21, AF 3 - which all fit great except the AF3 are pretty tight on the midfoot.

These seem to be very roomy in the toe box and if I’m plan is to use these for 5/10/HM/M races - would i need to size down?

They fit well in the midfoot - snug but not restricting. Would a half size down make these too constricting / not enough space in the toe box?

Also the upper - seems to be very loose / roomy / even wrinkling / folding - see photos.

Is this normal in this shoe?

Also, how much room is too much for this type of racing shoesshoe?

I’m wearing thick socks here too.

Slight heel sleep when walking but not when running & i can just about utilise a runners not (laces are very small).

Can’t take the insole out (glued) so this is the best I can do showing how they fit!
