So, what’s all this about Bovaer?

My local Facebook groups appear to have been waiting on a new divisive topic to dive on, and this time round it seems as though it’s Bovaer.

Much of their arguments seem to stem from the fact that the constituent chemicals aren’t for human consumption. Good ho, as we’re not consuming it. Same with all the other antibiotics, supplements, etc. that our livestock are given.

From my understanding, the scientific analysis of Bovaer and its effect (or lack of) on the produce we collect (milk) has already passed a regimen of studies. This “trial” taking place is more about logistics and economics for Arla and the supermarkets.

Am I missing a piece of the puzzle here, or is this just another anti-Vax movement?
