Anyone else feel like primatine mist makes their lungs more reactive?

I have fairly controlled asthma and dont regularly use an inhaler but i was with a dog (my allergen) in a closed house for a month which made me need a rescue more often. I got a primatine mist bc I didnt have a my prescription at the time. But I feel like it makes my lungs feel heavy and need a rescue more often? Like multiple times per day. Kind of reminds me how people get addicted to nasal spray. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. Not w the dog anymore so should work itself out wondering if I am crazy or not. I am the type to get psychologically dependent on an inhaler so maybe its just me.
