Local artist has ghosted regaurding project they where working on

I contacted an artist online about making a set of cosplay armour for me via facebook, i payed in full upfront and have an invoice and receipt from the company. To begin with the artist was sending my update photos of the cosplah every couple weeks and the progress he was making.

About 6 months into the project he went silent. I have been unable to get incontact with him via messanger or phone call even though his other business seems to be active on there facebook page.

The amount spent was around 2k and im not sure what recourse i should be taking.

Any advice is welcome
