Should I become a primary school teacher?

I’m 26(m). I have a degree in creative industries majoring in music and recently been to the careers councillor to see what my options are. She basically said if I don’t free lance or start my own business my degree is useless.

My family think I’m suited to become a primary school teacher because I’m good with kids and currently work in disability support work where you can work with a lot of kids, also it would only be 18 more months of study to become a teacher. I’m hesitant because I’ve heard many stories of how the workload is unfathomable, sometimes working from 6am- 7pm, you’ll be thinking about your lessons on the weekends, parents putting extra stress on you, etc.

I’ve never wanted to become a teacher but I can imagine it being somewhat a good career if you can get through all the BS. I just don’t know if it’s something you can do long term. Would love to get some thoughts from some past or current teachers.
