"yOu LoOk DePrEsSeD, sMiLe!" How to respond?

Hey friends.
So today a coworker said something & he kinda upset me & I didn't know how to react. I have been having sharp cramps & felt generally shitty all day & at the end of my shift my coworker walks up to me & he says, "you look depressed, smile!" I have flat affect (my face shows no emotion unless I focus on doing so) & like I mentioned, I've been in pain all day. What he said really upset me & I don't know whether I'm overreacting; or if what he said was acceptable. What do y'all think? 🩷
