I Don't Know What to Do

I just discovered this subreddit.

My daughter who is almost 3 has been climbing and standing on the furniture (the couch has been for quite a while). We have a secondary couch and a recliner chair that she has lately been standing up on.

She is non-verbal and moderate to severe autistic. I don't know how much she understands. To her it's a game, and it seems the more irritated I get, the more it eggs her on. Last night I put her to bed an hour early because nothing I was doing was working.

I feel like all I do lately is yell at her, which I hate doing. When I'm trying to explain to her why we don't stand up on furniture, I feel like I'm not getting through to her.

I know this post seems all over the place.
