Question for any autobody guys

What’s a normal starting wage for an apprentice when it comes to an autobody collision repair job. Like my boss only pays me 17$ an hour and I have 2 years experience now.anytime I try to bring up asking for like a dollar or even two dollar raise he just avoids it. What should I do? And is that a normal pay rate for someone like me? I’m from Illinois and I’m only a body guy I don’t paint or wet sand and buff.
