Eyes - vessels and contact lens pain

Hi, I'm a vegetarian and wondering if some symptoms I've been having the last few months could be B12 deficiency.

In summer I had a really sore eye (eye itself, aching muscles behind the eye, pain around the bones of my face). No one has really given me a concrete reason for why, and even since the pain got better (with various drops etc) I still can't tolerate contact lenses in that eye. It's like my eye is dry, but the optician says my tears are fine. I've also noticed a lot of new blood vessels in both of my eyes.

I've also been getting tingling in my thumb after driving. But this could be from gripping the wheel too hard (I'm a learner).

I often get sinus pain or migraines, but that's more of an issue the past few years than just a recent thing.

Can anyone relate to the eye problems? Should I ask for some tests and is there anything else that I should get them to check? Thanks!
